Our Vision
A Better Future – Together
There are many worthwhile charities operating in Ukraine providing much-needed aid to the communities that have been devastated by the ongoing conflict. Project Fenix aims to complement this work by taking a longer-term and business-centric approach to the stabilisation of Ukraine’s future through charity coordination and the provision of managed services. This aims to provide income to displaced Ukrainian citizens, support British Small Businesses and enable the Ukrainian community primacy in reconstruction and recovery.
CONTEXT
What We Do
Project Fenix aims to address several short- and long-term problem sets, which are summarised below:
Short Term
The situation in Ukraine is complex and dynamic, charities, NGOs and individuals have rushed to support where they can, whilst several are well resourced and experienced, many are not. This has resulted in challenges with aid distribution, support to those in need and increased risk to volunteers.
Short Term
With a large, well-educated and industrious population Ukraine processes a significant number of highly skilled personnel who are now unable to generate much-needed income to support their families and the economic future of their Nation.
Long Term
Ukraine will require significant financial, material and skills support to recover from the current conflict and resources are already being allocated to various organisations in anticipation of this. Whilst many are altruistic in their desire to help, several are not and there is a risk that some of the income and input will be denied to the Ukrainian communities that are in need.
